Aimesh and wake on lan issues

vhailor

New Around Here
hi,
i have two asus routers connected by aimesh with ethernet:
ax11000 pro
ax86u

if i send a Wake on lan signal between two computers connected in ax86u, this works fine, but when i send this signal between ax11000 pro and the same computer connected to ax86u, is not working.
is there any way to solve this issue?
thanks

As I understand your setup the AX11000 Pro is the router and the AX86U is the AiMesh node?

Does WOL work when the computer is Ethernet connected to the AX11000 Pro? If so the WOL should work when the same computer is connected to the AX86U when the AX86U is an AiMesh node. If WOL does not work this way remove the AX86U as an AiMesh node and set it up as an Access Point. When set as an AP the Ethernet ports on the AP will work as an unmanaged switch and pass the WOL magic packets.
Or, remove the AX86U from the AiMesh, hard factory reset it and add it back to the AiMesh.

Actually I use wired devices on the LAN ports of my AX86 Nodes, (TV, IPTV box) because they do act like an unmanged switches, though, to be fair, I haven't tried WOL

I have have a Debian box on a managed switch that I can start with WOL. My NAS is connected to the router and WOL works on that. I have removed my AiMesh node as I really do not need it (small house) and the AX86U Pro is a beast!

after some testing, i can wake up any computer connected to the same router that i am connected, WOL dont work between routers at least between aimesh
